Latest Book - 21st Century Atma Nirbhar Gram Panchayat
If we look into the governing structure in rural India, the Elected Representatives of Gram Panchayats are the heads of the Panchayati Raj institutions. Our elected representatives are the agents of development for the villages of India. With more than 6,00,000 villages in India, it is crucial that our Elected Representatives at the village level receive quality training to lead the rural citizens of India.
Sampoorna Swaraj Foundation is working on bringing an integrated technological approach to these problems which will make our local governments function at full potential as it should. We have studied and identified that it is key to educate our citizens about their rights, responsibilities and duties. As citizens of a democratic nation, we aim to enable our citizens to involve them and help them make informed decisions which fulfils the promise of democracy.
The need to improve conditions of people
living in Indian villages has been accepted
by Indian governments since Independence.
Massive government programs have been
directed towards this end. Many civil society
organizations have been engaged. Lately many
corporate trusts and foundations have
also become engaged.
